Prince Paul has been producing some eclectic work the past 3-4 years. His latest Dino5, a children’s narrative album is a prehistoric preschool masterpiece . Although lyrically & thematically geared for the pre-school generation, the music is is solid and reminiscent of early De La Soul albums. Supporting cast: Chali 2na (J5), Lady Bug Mecca(digable planets), scratch (the roots), wordsworth and narrated by Ursula Rucker.

don newkirk & bernie worrell. With special guests, david byrne, roc raida, george clinton, shock g, nona hendryx, and yellowman. It’s a huge departure from his latest work and is heavily influenced by galactic funk but has enough originality to be placed in it’s own category. Full of skits, some comedy and solid production.
